The operator, Parks Canada, says Miette Hot Springs is closed for the season and will welcome visitors again in spring 2027. The water flows from the mountain at 54°C and is cooled to 37-40°C in the pools; the top five minerals are sulphate (1130 mg/l), calcium (307 mg/l), bicarbonate (124 mg/l), magnesium (56 mg/l) and sodium (10.5 mg/l). Entry is first come, first served and admission is sold only at reception, with no advance sales; in season it opens daily, holidays included. A national park pass is required, the rules follow Alberta pool standards, lifeguards are on duty and swimwear is required, with rentals available.
