How it works
The operator publishes daily hours of 9am-10:30pm, ages 19+ only; from October 13 to 16 one pool is closed for maintenance. The water leaves the ground at 45.6°C and is not heated, filtered or altered; the pools run 37-41°C: the Eclipse Pool, the largest, with an infinity edge and waterfalls; the rock-lined Onsen Pool for about ten people; and the Aurora Pool, reached by a heated covered ramp that allows wheelchairs. In summer the Hidden Pool (31-34°C), Shigaraki ceramic tubs and two cedar cold plunges (3-7°C) open. There are two cedar saunas at 60°C and 80°C, two steam rooms (one with eucalyptus) and a snow-rolling area in winter. Swimwear is required. A 3-hour visit is suggested, with no time limit; there is a café and suites.
