How it works
The operator publishes the Sydney site of The Sauna Project, a New Zealand brand, opened in June 2024 with its mobile sauna parked at Vaucluse Beach Paddock, a sheltered harbour cove used for ocean plunges. The sauna is heated to 85°C; the guide is about 15 minutes in the sauna, a plunge in the sea or fresh air, repeated 3 times in 1 hour. The price list describes a session as 60 minutes with 3 rounds of Aufguss. There are book club sessions on the first Friday of the month at 6pm, guided breathwork sessions and a plog-and-sauna on the last Saturday of the month at 8am. The sauna seats up to 9 and can be booked privately. The site gives no fixed hours or heater type. The site address is only Vaucluse Beach Paddock; the street comes from the directory. The brand runs another sauna at Palm Beach with no street address published.
60-minute social sessions booked online, with themed sessions and a private-booking option.
