Tŷ Sawna publishes two handcrafted barrel saunas on the beach at Oxwich Bay, each with its own wood-burning stove and half-moon panoramic window: Tŷ Bach Twt, with 8 seats, and Tŷ Mawr, with 10. It runs Thursday to Sunday from 8am to 8pm, with 55-minute communal and private sessions; on Thursdays the Thursday Club has a reduced price, and on Monday mornings Mindful Mondays are silent communal sessions. The sea serves as the cold plunge, along with water buckets; drinking water is available for refills. Guests bring two towels, swimwear, flip-flops and warm clothes. There are seasonal events such as a full moon sauna with breathwork and 90-minute guided rituals with salt inhalations, scrubs, aromatherapy infusions and leaf whisking.
