How it works
Tuhka Talo publishes that the Woodland Sauna is in a private woodland on Longstock Rd, Fullerton, near Stockbridge, about 2 miles from the Fallen Willow Sauna, the same operator's lakeside site. It is a wood-fired sauna built by Blackwood Saunas, seating up to 10 people (6 or 7 in communal sessions, 8 private, 10 to 12 for events), with three freshwater cold plunge baths (including the large Big Bertha), two cold showers, fire pits, a changing hut, compost toilets, an events tent and a massage tent. The 60-minute communal sessions are booked through Bookwhen; the operator offers aufguss rituals and guided sessions with trained sauna masters, and guests may pour water on the stove. Guests bring swimwear, two towels and water; minimum age 16 (under-18s with an adult); no dogs; refunds with 48 hours' notice. Autumn communal times: Monday 8.30am to 8pm, Wednesday 10am to 9pm, Friday 10am to 7.30pm, Saturday 9.30am to 7.30pm and Sunday 9.30am to 4pm. The land is private, access is for booked guests only and the exact location comes in the booking email; the site does not publish a postcode. The temperature is not published.
Booked 60-minute communal sessions with 6 or 7 people; private slots on request.
