How it works
Sweheat describes itself as an independent outdoor pop-up sauna on Western Beach, Royal Victoria Dock (1 Dock Road, E16 1AH), next to Nakhon Thai restaurant and opposite Wakeup Docklands, a 7-minute walk from Royal Victoria DLR station. It opens Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 10pm. Simply Sauna sessions (60 min for £15 or 90 min for £20) are public and mixed, with sauna and a cold plunge at the water's edge; booking is essential, and walk-in tickets may be available if space allows. The operator says it deliberately caps numbers but does not publish the capacity of regular sessions. There is a private session for up to 6 people, events with set places (textile-free aufguss and German-style sauna with 14 places, Lithuanian rituals with leaf whisks, storytelling nights) and a Sweheat+ membership. It sells towel hire, sauna hats and leaf whisks. The operator warns that Apple Maps and Citymapper may show an old address. It does not publish the temperature or heating type.
Booked mixed public sessions of 60 or 90 minutes with sauna and cold plunge; events with set places booked separately.
