How it works
The operator publishes a public sauna village on the Limmat, run as a joint venture of Löyly GmbH and Haus am Fluss AG. Finnish saunas run at 75 to 100 °C with low humidity, and guests pour their own infusions; the large saunas are social and the smaller ones face the river. Bio saunas at 55 to 60 °C run at set times, such as Mondays and Thursdays from 17:00. Cold comes from 2 to 6 °C plunges and outdoor showers on the river terrace. There are indoor and outdoor rest areas with loungers and water, plus a bistro serving tea, beer and snacks. It is a swimwear sauna. Entry gives 2 hours of free access to the whole site; online booking is optional and walk-ins are admitted subject to capacity. It opens daily for the season from 9 October 2026 to 30 April 2027.
