How it works
The operator lists at Neptunplatz 1 two sauna areas: the historic one, listed and rebuilt in Jugendstil style, with an Art Nouveau sauna with Aufguss, a laconium with scrubs, the Kaiserbad with underwater music and a steam bath at 50 °C; and the Asian one, with eight saunas (among them an Aufguss sauna by the large pool, an Aufguss sauna in the Zen garden, a Buddha sauna, herbal sauna, candle sauna and Maiban sauna), a sento bath, a cascade onsen, the Sento Lounge and a separate women-only section with its own sauna and showers. There is a 2,000 m² Zen garden with a pool, a sun deck and about 12,800 Aufguss sessions a year. Saunas and pools are used without swimwear; outside them a towel or bathrobe is required, and devices with cameras are banned. The sauna opens daily 9am to midnight.
