Communal sessions take place in Gaia, a cedar-clad wood-fired sauna with 8 seats; Tara, the original 5 to 6 seat sauna built in an old horsebox with a 120 kg rock stove, is for private hire only. Sessions include use of the pond (unsupervised, at the guest's own risk, water tested weekly) and a cold shower; there are no warm showers. Guests bring swimwear, two towels and water; there is a changing tent with little storage; minimum age 16. Bookings open 6 weeks ahead and refunds apply up to 48 hours before. The operator also sells massages in the yoga garden, events and hire of a mobile sauna tent at other locations. The FAQ says the sauna is at the Knepp Estate until late October, without saying what happens after. The temperature is not published.
