How it works
The operator publishes a five-seat wood-fired sauna sited in the private grounds of Lingholm Estate, in woodland overlooking Derwentwater with a private jetty a two-minute walk away; the wood comes from the estate itself. Sessions are shared unless all seats are booked (one extra guest is allowed for exclusive use, maximum 6). The host meets guests at the La'al Hut near the cafe and guides them to the sauna. There is no changing area on site (guests should arrive ready) and toilets are in the cafe; the main car park is free for guests who give their registration. Swimwear is required, nudity is not permitted, the minimum age is 16 and alcohol is not allowed. Guests are asked to bring two towels. Times vary week by week.
Shared one-hour sessions booked per seat; booking every seat gives exclusive use.
