How it works
The operator lists the thermal bath as open daily 9am-10pm and the sauna area Monday to Friday 12pm-10pm and weekends and holidays 10am-10pm, with last entry an hour before closing. The saunas, at 60 to 90°C, sit in the Japanese village (Maiban, a 60°C herbal sauna with singing-bowl infusions, and Asa-Hi at 80°C, with a tea and rest house, a shower house and a koi pond) and in the three-sauna house (Schwarzwald 60°C, Schweizerblick 90°C, Salzstein 70°C). Aufguss sessions with essential oils run hourly from 1:30pm to 8:30pm every day. The thermal bath has 6 pools over about 1,000 m², including an outdoor pool at 32°C and the Japanese pavilion at 34°C fed by the Fridolin spring. Swimwear is required in the thermal bath; nude bathing is limited to a dedicated pool in the natural pool area, and the Schwarzwald textile sauna (60°C), included in thermal-bath admission, is used in swimwear. The sauna is for ages 16 and up and phone-free. The site does not publish capacity.
First-come day or timed pass, with hourly aufguss.
