How it works
Operator publishes locker rooms, showers and gender-separate, clothing-optional sauna rooms, plus an enclosed outdoor courtyard with a garden and two pools, the hot one at 104 °F and the cold one at 50 °F, shared by all genders with bathing suits required. The saunas generally sit between 180 and 200 °F, heated by a once-fired thermal-mass stove that runs on gas or wood, and water can be poured on the rocks. There are 44 lockers, 20 on the men's side and 24 on the women's; trans and non-binary bathers use whichever locker room and sauna they are most comfortable in. Entry is walk-in only, with no reservations and an in-person waitlist when the house is full. Silence is observed on Fridays. Open Thursday to Monday; there is a monthly Queer Community Day with all-gender bathing. At the back there is a lounge and library, and at the front a café with snacks and drinks.
