How it works
The association publishes the house rules: Sompasauna is always open and has no staff, and anyone can come and heat the sauna; it is free of charge; it is mixed, with no separate shifts for women or men; you can use the sauna and swim naked or in a swimsuit. There is no running water, no showers and no changing rooms, and the lockers for valuables need your own padlock; visitors bring drinking water and a towel. Photography and speakers are not allowed; acoustic music and singing are, and there is a piano on site. The association declares zero tolerance for sexual harassment, with a reporting form. The sauna cannot be reached by car, and the nearest car parks are at Mustikkamaa; the site is not accessible, though the Temppeli sauna has a wheelchair ramp when needed. The number of saunas and the capacity are not published.
