How it works
The operator publishes a pool holding 186,000 gallons of geothermal water, which enters from the rocks at 100-104°F, leaves at 97°F and averages 100°F; a flow of nearly 540 gallons per minute replaces the full volume about every 6 hours. The hot pool is the old mine entrance. No reservations are needed. Fall hours (September 21 to October 31) for the pool and store are Friday and Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 9am-6pm, Monday and Thursday 10am-6pm, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. There are cabins, A-frames and campsites; the last stretch from Crouch is a dirt road.
Day ticket with no booking.
