The city of Shizuoka, which owns the onsen, publishes the Shirakaba-so page (updated 2026-06-04): a municipal onsen opened in 2009 on a simple sulfur spring, with a large bath, rotenburo and a multipurpose bath, plus rooms for 2 and 4 people. Day bathing opens 10am-6pm from April to November and 10am-5pm from December to March, closed Tuesdays (the next weekday if a holiday), except in August and November. Only stays need booking, through the Okushizu Batta site.
