How it works
The operator publishes a public sauna in a late Art Nouveau building from 1911 on the edge of the Patershol, open since 1985. In winter, October to April, it opens Tuesday to Saturday 1pm to 11pm and Sunday 1pm to 10pm; in summer, May to September, Tuesday to Saturday 5pm to 11pm; it is closed on Mondays. On Tuesdays the sauna is women-only from 1pm to 5pm and mixed from 5pm to 11pm. Bathing is nude, moving around in a bathrobe or towel. There is a 90°C dry Finnish sauna, an 80°C humid Finnish sauna with a löyly ritual around 9pm every day, a eucalyptus steam bath, a whirlpool, an indoor cold bath with jet stream, an outdoor plunge pool, a cold-water hose, a warm foot bath, a city garden for air bathing, a quiet room with fireplace and library, massages and a lounge bar. Booking by phone or online is recommended.
