How it works
The operator, the Duonos kelias museum (a public institution), lists three pirtys near Pilaitė manor, surrounded by old trees, a stream, ponds and mills: Senoji (up to 6 people, a Finnish AITO periodic-heating stove, on an island in the Sudervėlė stream), Didžioji (up to 12 people, black oak benches and a periodic-heating stove the operator calls the only one of its kind in Vilnius) and Mažoji. Didžioji has a pre-room with herbal tea, a changing room, WC, shower, an outdoor rest area and pond, and its own car park; whisks are sold on site. Besides group rental, the calendar lists open sauna evenings with a professional sauna master, some for women only and some for everyone (August to November 2026, several on Wednesdays 6pm to 10pm), with a 55 € ticket and loose dress; guests bring a towel and slippers. The site does not publish a fixed schedule for these evenings or the rental prices.
