How it works
The operator publishes a wood-fired sauna on a floating platform in Dún Laoghaire's Coal Harbour, with 12 seats and 45-minute sessions, a seawater plunge pool, changing rooms, outdoor showers and toilets. It is open daily from 8am to 10pm; there is a silent session on Tuesdays and a ladies-only session on Wednesdays, both from 9pm to 10pm. Swimwear must be worn at all times; the operator asks for a non-glass water bottle, flip-flops and a towel. Booking online is recommended, and walk-ins are accommodated when space allows. Cancellations more than 24 hours ahead are fully refunded. Paid parking is nearby. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown council launched the sauna on 29 May 2026.
Booked 45-minute session, with walk-ins taken when space allows.
