How it works
Operator publishes the Derby sauna as the original location, seating up to five people, on the lake it also calls Briseis Hole. The published address is that of the car park near the fire station, opposite the Blue Derby trail sign (99 Main Street); from there guests walk or ride over the suspension bridge and follow the blue poles for about ten minutes. The sites are off-grid: guests bring towels, water and a change of clothes, and the nearest toilet is about ten minutes away on foot. Phone reception is limited. The operator now has two other floating saunas, on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra and at Pemberton in Western Australia. Times, session length and price are only shown in the booking system.
Timed session through the online booking system; times according to published availability.
