Opinión reports (October 2021) that Capachos reopened after the pandemic under a biosafety plan drafted by the Oruro Municipal Government, with a pool and an individual-bath section, open Monday to Sunday 06:00 to 15:00 at that time. ABI reports (2023) that the government announced a pre-investment study for Capachos and Obrajes. Unitel reports (November 2025) an incident next to the Capachos baths, citing the staff in charge of the baths. YouTube videos from August 2024 and June 2025 show the complex operating.
